Whenever I think of Mondays, I think of the seminal classic, Office Space:
“Sounds like someone has a case of the Mondays”
This morning, I was told by one of my bosses “Good morning! TGIM!”
Thank goodness it’s Monday?
Thank goodness I didn’t just throw my coffee in your face.
The caffeine is too precious to waste.

Mondays are the bane of my existence. 😦 I can’t believe ANYONE would be excited about them.
TGIM does not exist in my language. That it exists in your boss’s makes me think he or she needs some therapy. Or maybe a life? Wowsa!
Haha. Yes. While it’s great working for people who are truly passionate about what they do, sometimes I really want to bash my head into a wall.
The only reason I get even a little excited about Mondays is that my lovely wife and I uphold the tradition of Margarita Mondays. Although lately we have been observing Mug Club Mondays, discounted mugs of beer at our local brew pub! I guess it doesn’t matter where you kill your brain cells as long as it gets the job done.
I really think that Josh and I need to participate in that tradition as well, though pretty much any sort of alcoholic beverage would suffice.
